Earlier tonight a special event was held at the Colisée Pepsi for season ticket holders of the Québec Remparts as well as members of their fan club. It was announced that attendees would get a chance to skate on the ice of the Colisée, visit the locker room and the other facilities, as well as get some autographs. For some stupid reason, I thought there would only be 3 or 4 players from the Québec Remparts who would be there to sign autographs, so I didn't bring anything to get signed. To my surprise, the whole team was there signing autographs, including the coaches! Fortunately, every player had their own 3½" X 5" team-issued cards to sign and hand out. You had to wait in line for each player you wanted an autograph of, so obviously, some lines were longer than others... I spent quite a bit of time on the ice, so I wasn't able to get autographs of the whole team afterwards, but I still managed to get most of the team. Here are the highlights:
Angelo Esposito's NHL rights belong to the Atlanta Thrashers and Maxime Lacroix's belong to the Washington Capitals. Mikhail Stefanovich is expected to be drafted in the first round of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft according to the latest report of the Scouting Central Service. I also got Kelsey Tessier, who's also expected to be drafted in the first 2 rounds of the 2008 NHL Entry Draft, but the autograph smeared (the only one of the bunch)... :o\
