53rd Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament - My 2nd Outing

Once again today, I went to the Galeries de la Capitale, this time for the little Philadelphia Flyers' exhibition game. Some of the little Flyers have pretty famous surnames: Primeau, Hatcher, Brière, LeClair and White (who is Peter White's son and Bobby Clarke's grandson). John LeClair and Derian Hatcher were around as spectator and assistant coach respectively, so I was able to get them to sign these after the game:

I had heard of Derian Hatcher's peculiar way of signing his name, but had never witnessed it firsthand. It's hard to describe, but his way of holding a pen is quite original and somewhat explains his weird signature!

53rd Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament - My 1st Outing

Another year, another edition of the Quebec International Pee-Wee Tournament!

This morning I went to the Galeries de la Capitale, a shopping center located about 10 minutes away from the Colisée Pepsi, for an exhibition game featuring the Anaheim Jr. Ducks. One of their assistant coaches this year is none other than Scott Niedermayer, whose oldest son Logan is playing with the team. Before the game, he generously signed all these for me!

I went back to the Galeries de la Capitale later in the day for the Atlanta Fire's exhibition game. Another future Hall of Famer was there, but this time it was a baseball player. Tom Glavine was around to watch one of his sons, Peyton, play for the Fire. During an intermission, he signed all 4 cards that I had:

Did you know that the same year Mr. Glavine was drafted by the Atlanta Braves, he was also drafted by the Los Angeles Kings? He elected to play baseball though and the rest is history!

Acadie-Bathurst Titan vs. Québec Remparts Game

I went to the game between the Acadie-Bathurst Titan and the hometown Québec Remparts earlier tonight and waited for autographs after the game. From the Remparts, I managed to get autographs from Adam Erne, Anthony Duclair and projected 2012 NHL Entry Draft 1st round pick Mikhail Grigorenko:

I didn't need anyone from the Titan's autograph, so I then waited for Patrick Roy to come out. He eventually did (I was the only one left waiting for him then) and he signed my 4 cards:

He insisted on using his own black Sharpie but I don't mind, the cards look great!

Corey Perry TTM

Corey Perry c/o Anaheim Ducks - 1,859 days (!!!) - 2/2

That's right, I just got these today from a request I sent over 5 years ago! Unfortunately, the Fleer card came back with a small crease at the bottom, but the other one looks awesome! Definitely worth the wait! :o)

Yvan Cournoyer IP

Yesterday, I heard on the news that the Henderson Jersey Homecoming Tour would be making a stop in my city 10 minutes from where I live and that Hall of Famer Yvan Cournoyer would be there. Of course, I went and when Mr. Cournoyer showed up, he happily posed for pictures with everyone who asked and signed multiple autographs. I got him to sign these 3 cards:

He explained that there was an "error" on the last card, which is a reissue of his rookie card, because he has never worn #23. He explained that he had probably just worn that jersey in practice on the day that photo was taken.
